- Qualifications: An eminent Scholar with Ph.D in Law along with published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications a minimum of 10 years of experience in University / College, and or Experience in research at the National Level institutions including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. Outstanding teachers with 15 years of UG teaching/research experience or an outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge may also be considered.

- Qualification: (i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, and equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale at the Master's Degree level (Public Administration/Public Policy/Law/Social Sciences), in the relevant subject form an Indian University, or, and equivalent Degree from a foreign university. (ii) Candidates should also have cleared the NET for lectures conducted by the UGC, or similar test accredited by the UGC.
