Cochin Shipyard Vacancies 2011 – Walk-in for Welders, Fitters vacancies: Cochin Shipyard Limited has given a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Semi Skilled Welder and Semi Skilled Structural Fitters vacancies in Cochin Shipyard on Contract basis through Walk-in-interview. Cochin Shipyard vacancy details:

Total no. of posts: 74 posts

Name of the posts:

1. Semi Skilled Welder: 50 posts

2. Semi Skilled Structural Fitters: 24 posts

Pay scale: Rs. 6750/-pm

Age limit:

The age limit is not exceed 30 years as on 27-06-2011, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Educational qualification:

Applicants Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in Welder and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) for the post of Semi Skilled Welder and Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the trades of Sheet Metal Worker/Fitter and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) for the post of Semi Skilled Structural Fitters.

Selection procedure:

The mode of selection is interview/practical test basis.

How to apply:

The interested applicants may come for Walk-in-interview on 08-07-2011 and 09-07-2011, at Cochin Shipyard Indoor Stadium, Thevara. At the time of Walk-in-interview applicants bring all original and attested copies of all necessary certificates, two copies of latest passport size photographs and filled application form in prescribed format given in the advertisement.

Walk-in-interview dates and time:

08th and 09th July 2011 between 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs.
